A-Metrics Backs Developers of Credit Card Fraud Prevention

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (December 17, 2007) — A-Metrics, LLC, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based intellectual properties developer has announced a vested interest in Miri Systems, LLC. The new venture, with offices in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Belmont, Massachusetts, will be commercializing their patented system for stemming the rampant spread of credit card fraud around the world. With worldwide losses to fraud in the $billions annually, banks and credit card processors have been steadily implementing a succession of fraud-prevention measures in an attempt to reduce the cost of fraudulent transactions, especially in internet commerce. The Miri System developers are confident that their system will significantly curtail these losses, and restore the consumer’s confidence in making purchases without risk of compromising their accounts.

First use of the system is expected to be implemented in early 2008.
